ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEACH HOSPITAL
We're proud to announce that we have selected St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to be the recipient of our first charitable donation! 100% of all proceeds generated from "Keepershot" will be donated to St. Jude's to support the amazing work they do for children and their families.
St. Jude's mission is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Since its founding in 1962, St. Jude has focused on transformative discoveries and treatments which enable children with life-threatening diseases to have access to quality care...ALL AT NO CHARGE!
"KEEPERSHOT" was created in memory of Dorothy DiBello. Dorothy was a loving mother of 8 to whom she dedicated every moment of her short 46 year life, especially to her youngest daughter Susan. Susan was born with Spina bifida and Dorothy spent every waking moment researching "options" and finding the best doctors IN THE WORLD to provide care for her daughter. Dorothy was fortunate to have the means to travel to Boston Children's Hospital to get the best possible care available and as a result of her unending love and determination, her daughter, who at birth was told "would not live past the age of 13", will celebrate her 53rd birthday this year!
Not all parents are as fortunate to be able to get the best possible treatment available and that's where a place like St. Jude Children's Hospital can literally be the difference between life and death. St. Jude's has some of the best doctors and researchers in the world and provides care for children regardless of a families ability to pay. NO FAMILY EVER RECEIVES A BILL FROM ST. JUDE'S! That's thanks to their ongoing fundraising and philanthropic efforts of which we are happy to be joining with our new endeavor..."KEEPER SHOT"!
